Dolores Heights
Built as part of a development that started in the 1860s, Lady Liberty is a 4-storey building. It features separate entrances on the south side – one from Church Street for three rental units and another at the top of Liberty Street for the owner’s 3,800 SF unit. Victor Mezhvinsky and his construction crew responded to the challenges of not only staging on a very steep site but also resolving the building framing to convert the attic with its steep roof angles and dormer additions into a living space and two bedrooms, strengthening overhangs into which Red Dot Studio integrated bench seats and bathrooms.
