Over the past several weeks, we’ve followed steady progress at Sky House as the project moved from framing to window installation to drywall. Each step brings the structure closer to feeling like a finished space.

Framing

Early in the month, most of the work focused on framing and MEP rough-in. It’s a good moment towalk the site because everything is exposed and you can see how the structure and systems fittogether before the walls close up.

Windows

By mid-month, the focus turned to setting window assemblies. Some openings received standardunits, while others called for full height sliders and storefront frames. Getting these in place marks abig milestone. It means the building is sealed up and crews can shift their attention to interior andfinish related activities.

Drywall

Toward the end of the month, crews started closing up the walls. It’s one of those phases that changes the site overnight. Rooms feel tighter, quieter, and easier to read. You start to understand and feel how the building will function day to day.

Community

This month also brought a story outside of construction. When a neighbor’s husband suffered a medical emergency, two of our team members, Carlos and Jacob, stepped in to help. They provided CPR and stayed with the family until medics arrived. Their quick action and care reflect the values FORMA brings to every project.
