4Winds Winery | Silverado Trail, Napa

4Winds Winery is located in the Stags Leap District among the Palisades’ volcanic countryside, and as the name suggests, is a windswept and wild environment. In 2017 the Kincaid fire moved through much of the wine country in Northern California, including the property at 4Winds, and ravaged one of the property’s buildings. Luckily, the vines and foliage acted as a shield to the central estate, but the Guest House was completely demolished and damaged the Caretaker’s house. We worked closely with Taylor Lombardo Architects to rebuild the structure to match the existing footprint, emphasizing matching the main, historical, family estate.
